My coverstar is a model named Kernie who is 16 years old. He has had past photoshoots done therefore, I am positive that it will be easy to work with him.
I plan on putting some make-up on him to give him the perfect look that will match my music magazine theme. He has curly hair, which I think would look really good, but I will be putting some curlers in his front hair just to enhance them more. Other than that, he has dark eyes which I will be putting some eyeliner on to make them stand out more. I want to play around with make-up to give him false eye bags, I feel like by doing that, the look will come together more, because I want the personality of this character, which I'm creating, to be carefree and real... I think by adding some 'false' flaws may make this show.
For the main shoot, I want Kernie to wear dark colours. The costume that I have in mind for him to wear for the image of the main cover consists of a checked button-up which has dark red, navy blue and white in it, this will be layed on top of a plain white t-shirt. Over the checked top, Kernie will be wearing a dark denim jacket and I may add a scarf with different blue tones on top.
The look I want to create is inspired by various Indie and Rock artists, many of them love their checked tops, with are either layed with leather or denim jackets. Along with some rock artists how like to wear eyeliner. So, this is the look I am also attempting for.
