Preliminary Task - Creating a Magazine Cover and Contents Page.

Today in lesson, I completed my magazine cover and contents page. My final piece is displayed below. This is my magazine cover and contents page. It ended up having some differences in comparison to my plan, however I am happy with the outcome of it.

  1. Your front page has a professional looking image, however the cover lines should be spread out on the page more. Your contents page looks colourful which is good as it would appeal to your target audience. However, on the image on the bottom right you should change the font colour as it is difficult to read.

  2. Your front cover looks nice and sophisticated. The image you used for the front cover is simplistic which is good in my opinion. I like what you did with the background image on your contents page. What you could of done to improve your contents page was not using too many images.

  3. I liked the way the image faded at the background for your contents page. The ways in which you could improve your cover page is if you made it more lively and more colourful.

  4. Your front cover is nice and simple, the image you used looks professional. However your cover lines aren't spread out enough and are all the same colour so none of them stand out from the other. Your contents page is also good it has a lot of pictures which may attract readers. To improve i think you should make the front cover and contents page more colourful.

  5. COVER: Very professional image. Looks sophisticated but maybe more headlines spread out on the page. May need some more colour in it as it isn't eye catching.

CONTENTS: Good use of colours and really nice layout. This is appealing to a reader. I love the use of background images behind more images. Looks really good.
